Laura joined Forest Research in August 2024. Prior to joining FR, Laura worked in market research, running end-to-end projects for high-profile brands utilising a wide range of methodologies, from implicit testing to more traditional approaches. She also has prior experience running research projects and behaviour change interventions within a local authority. Laura is currently completing her MSc in Environmental Policy and Management at the University of Bristol. Her BSc is in Psychology, where she built up an interest in Environmental Psychology, completing her dissertation investigating the impact of natural and urban environments on emotion. At FR, Laura is working on a variety of projects, including developing a behaviour change intervention to encourage plant buyers to choose plant certified retailers.

National Conversation on Plant Health

The National Conversation project aims to lay the foundations for a national conversation on plant and tree health and biosecurity, by developing our understanding of the public’s awareness, attitudes, motivations and actions around the topic and exploring opportunities to encourage action for plant health and biosecurity through targeted interventions.
