Gaia leads the planning, implementation, and monitoring of a number of Nature for Climate projects, liaising with both Forest Research and DEFRA. In this role, she provides comprehensive project, administrative, risk and financial management support to project teams, ensuring delivery within time, scope and budget constraints. As a member of the Research Office team, Gaia contributes to strategic systems’ development at Forest Research, driving continuous improvement across the organisation.
An environmental manager with experience delivering ecosystem restoration, research and community engagement projects and programmes in the UK, Australia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Her previous roles focused on development and delivery of integrated water resource management policy and programmes.
Gaia holds a BSc in Ecology and Zoology (Australia) and an MSc in Environmental Management and Protection (Scotland).
