Emma holds an MSc exploring community interactions in arctic vegetation and a PhD researching plant resilience to flooding and drought cycles.
Before joining Forest Research, Emma held a number of finance roles within in the healthcare sector, most recently as Finance Director, developing and implementing new systems and managing refurbishment programmes.
