Overview

This research aims to improve the development of woodland statistics for England by exploring improvements to the process of producing statistics.

This goes from the beginning of the process by looking at improvements to existing data sources and suitability of new data sources, through to improving the dissemination of statistics for all audiences.

This also involves optimising the production of Official Statistics to streamline the process and enable reproducibility, as well as creating documentation to help users understand the statistics we produce.

This project is part of the Nature for Climate Fund.
