Visit us at the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show!
Find us in the forestry area on stand 806 (what3words: flashback.summer.dome) and play our interactive board game to see if you can maximise the benefits delivered by appropriate woodland creation and management. You can explore how tree health and the changing climate are affecting trees, and what can be done to mitigate the impacts.
We’ll also have our state-of-the-art mobile tree health laboratory with us on site. Climb on board, see our laboratory in action and find out what it’s like to be a scientist in the front-line investigating tree pests and diseases.
Our experts will be on hand to answer your questions – from how you can create and manage trees and woodlands for climate change, to how to look for signs of pests and diseases.
Our staff will also be able to show you the practical tools and resources FR has created in order to support you. These include our new Climate Change Hub containing information and guidance about protecting our trees and woodlands from the changing climate, and our ForestGALES and ESC decision support tools.
To get the latest updates about the show follow us @Forest_Research – we’ll be posting before and during the event to let you what is happening at our stand.
We look forward to welcoming you.
