The EFUF2024 overall theme is Urban Forests for All.
EFUF2024 is a conference interested in urban forest management, policy, planning and decision-making. This year it’s focus is on managers, researchers, practitioners, consultants and representatives from stakeholder groups.
On day 3 of the conference (24 May) Hannah Walker will be presenting the Branching Out: Mapping value in urban treescapes project.
This project explores the social and cultural values provided by urban trees, gathered through storytelling and citizen deliberation/participation, and associated with tree characteristics which can be displayed on a map of a city to demonstrate regions of high and low potential provision of values.
