Climate change has profoundly affected the relationship between forests and water.  Understanding how we can manage forests for water as our climate changes is becoming an urgent and critical task across the world.

This webinar will summarise how climate and forest changes due to disturbance or reforestation and their interactions, may affect water quality, water use efficiency and various other hydrological functions.  It will also discuss management strategies for water protection and climate change adaptation.

Speakers in the webinar include Nadeem Shah, Hydrologist at Forest Research.

The seminar is organised by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO).  It is one of a number of webinars on forests and water.
