Overview

The Resilience theme focuses on making forests more adaptable to climate change. Our projects aim to develop strategies and tools to enhance forest resilience.

Key projects

  • Climate Resilience Hub: We are creating a central hub to support research on climate resilience in forests.
  • Drought Impacts: Research is investigating how drought affects trees and how we can mitigate these effects.
  • Experimental Forests: We’re setting up experimental forests to test and refine forest management practices under changing conditions.

Why it matters

Building resilience helps forests withstand the impacts of climate change, ensuring their long-term health and functionality. This research provides essential tools and knowledge to protect our woodlands.
