In this role you will develop and apply climate-responsive forest models to assess and manage climate risks, support evidence-based forestry policy and decision-making, lead research projects and collaborations, and communicate findings that enhance the climate resilience and carbon benefits of UK forests and woodlands.

In this role, you will develop and apply bioinformatics approaches to analyse genomic and transcriptomic data, support pathogen identification and population genomics research, and contribute to the development of research proposals.
