In this role, you will help protect the health of Britain’s trees and forests by diagnosing tree diseases, conducting laboratory and field-based pathology research and providing expert advice and evidence to support biosecurity, forest management and government policy.

In this role you will analyse and manage forestry data, develop and quality assure official statistics, and provide evidence and insights to support sustainable forest management, forestry policy and the UK timber industry.

In this role, you’ll support the Head of Finance by leading financial and systems accounting, with particular responsibility for fixed asset accounting, financial controls, compliance, reporting and supporting the development of the finance team.
