Current Opportunities

In this role, you will work as part of a small team based at Stanton Downham, near Thetford, carrying out a wide range of environmental, plant health and crop surveys; lay out, maintain and assess field experiments; and in cases assist with managing contractors and auditing their work.

This role will be involved in implementing and supporting the new information management principles and helping to bring about change to both physical and digital records management, as outlined in our Digital and Data Strategies.

As a member of the Forestry Commission’s Expert Committee on Forest Science, you will provide independent expert advice on the quality, relevance and impact of UK forest science research and help shape future forestry research, policy and practice.
