Richard’s primary role is assisting Ian Craig with the maintenance and renewal of the Permanent Sample Plot Network.
Richard also provides data analysis and interpretation and communications support to the FMMF group.
Richard Baden graduated from the University of Wales, Bangor in 1999 with a BSc (Hons) in Forestry and after a variety of employment joined the Tree Health Section of Forest Research in 2009, working primarily on Dothistroma needle blight. Richard transferred to the Forest Mensuration, Modelling and Forecasting Science Group in 2017.
