Anna leads the planning, implementation, and monitoring of a number of Nature for Climate projects, liaising with both Forest Research and DEFRA. In this role, she provides comprehensive project, administrative, risk and financial management support to project teams, ensuring delivery within time, scope and budget constraints. As a member of the Research Office team, Anna contributes to strategic systems’ development at Forest Research, helping to drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
Anna earned an MA from the University of Cambridge in Land Economy, which encompassed law, economics, statistics and geography. She then transitioned into secondary education, completing a PGCE and an MA in Educational Leadership from the University of Warwick, specialising on coaching and mentoring strategies. She also holds a National Professional Qualification (NPQ) in Senior Leadership, with a focus on strategic change management, and a PRINCE2 practitioner qualification.
She brings extensive experience as an Assistant Principal, where she successfully established new programmes, teams and departments in secondary schools, and launched a new Sixth Form. Her expertise in operational and strategic leadership, data analysis and stakeholder engagement have consistently driven improvements in educational outcomes. She is excited to apply these leadership and project management skills to make a positive impact in the nature and climate sector.
