Anna is part of the team responsible for a manipulation experiment investigating the physiology of young trees recovering from drought. Her main role is the ongoing collection of data, conducting manual measurements of gas exchange and plant traits affected by drought stress.

Anna joined Forest Research in 2023 having just completed a BSc (Hons) in Ecological and Environmental Sciences at the University of Edinburgh. During this degree she gained practical experience of planning and managing projects as well as field and lab skills in forest mensuration, plant ID and the quantification of plant traits.
